Easy Spring Crafts for Kids of All Ages
1. Spring Sun catchers – Instructions
If you haven’t jumped on the contact paper bandwagon yet, it’s time to change that. We have utilized contact paper for so many crafts and it’s never failed me! These Spring sun catchers by I Can Teach my Child are the perfect activity to start enjoying the warm weather that is upon us. Well, hopefully it’s upon you. Here in North Carolina we are seeing glimpses of Spring and I am a little giddy, ok a lot giddy, about it. Grab a bag for your kiddos and head out on a nature walk for this one. If you’re looking for easy Spring crafts – this one takes the cake!
Materials needed:
- various flowers, leaves and petals
- contact paper
- hole punch
- twigs
- string
- bag for nature treasures

2. Paper Bag Kites – Instructions
I haven’t met a kid who didn’t like kites – so I think this one is going to be a win! Sticking with the easy Spring crafts theme, these kites are keeping it simple for sure. Not only will your kids get to decorate it to make it their own, it’s something that will also keep them busy on a windy day outside. I love the simplicity here. Great job, broogly.com!

- Paint, markers, stickers to decorate
- Paper Lunch Bags
- Tissue Paper (for tails)
- Yarn
3. Cherry Blossom Craft – Instructions
Anyone else’s kids get super excited when the flowers start blooming?! Mine have been running in and out of the house daily to tell me that new flowers are popping up. And of course I must go see every single one to keep the excitement going 🙂 This craft from iHeartCraftyThings is simply beautiful! I love the bright colors she used. My girls are definitely going to love this one. It’s a great way to learn about cherry blossoms too!

- blue cardstock
- brown paint
- paintbrush
- pink crepe paper
- glue stick or school glue
- scissors
- stapler
4. Cardboard Vase Activity – Instructions
Here to round up the easy Spring crafts is the cardboard vase activity. This is a great one for your nature walks as well. If you have some cardboard laying around, this craft is completely free! It really is the simple ones that are my favorite – so I hope you’re enjoying these too. My girls love bringing in flowers and putting them in a vase.
