1. Clothespin Bird Feeder – Instructions
Once you get the few supplies needed, this one by Little Pine Learners is pretty simple to make. We’ve done bird feeders in the past, but this one looks like it will be the easiest to make! Hope your kiddos and the little birds love it.
Materials needed:
- Cardboard
- Cookie Cutter Shapes (Optional)
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue
- Clothespins
- Bird Seed
- Peanut Butter
2. Flower Pounding – Instructions
Raising up Wild Things has so many great wildflower crafts on her blog, but this one really stood out to me. Any activity that allows my kids to pound on something is one I know they will love. And the results are beautiful!
Materials needed:
- Wildflowers, leaves, and/or any flowers from your garden – pansies, petunias, roses and geraniums work especially well
- Fabric or paper, with a cutting board underneath
- Painter’s tape or masking tape
- Parchment paper
- Metal hammer or rubber mallet
- Spatula or skillet scraper
3. Sun Art Paper Lanterns – Instructions
Little Pine Learners never lets me down! This sun art paper looks like so much fun. There are three different styles of lanterns, so your child can choose the one that is on their level. These will add such a beautiful glow to your space!
Materials needed:
- Sun print paper kit
- Pieces of nature. Look for a wide variety to experiment with!
- Flameless tea light candles
4. Painted Twig Bouquet – Instructions
Painting and sticks – the perfect combination. Talk about easy to prep! My girls will have a field day with one. Thanks Homemade Ginger! Collecting sticks is always fun, but painting them too? Count us in!
