Ready for some DIY garden crafts for kids? Below are four projects that are not only simple and fun crafts, they are full of so much creativity!
We are getting our garden beds ready and are really excited for planting season. Just a few more weeks and we’ll be transplanting our seed starts and direct sowing some seeds.
There’s just something so special about having your own garden, raising your own food, and then giving that food to your family. Can’t wait to harvest this year!
My kids love getting involved in the gardening process. So I thought doing some gardening crafts with them would be a great way to teach and involve them even more! Below I’ve chosen four crafts. They each include a supply list and links to instructions. I hope you and your kiddos have a blast with these fun ideas!

1. Garden Seed Bombs by Simple Living Mama
This is such a fun way to grow flowers in your garden! When you’re done making them, just toss them out wherever you want them to grow. The end result will be beautiful flowers! 2. Paint Mixing Stick Garden Markers by Repeat Crafter Me
We are in need of some garden markers and these look like the perfect way to make that happen! I can see these being a great addition to our outdoor space and it’ll give the garden a pop of color! 3. Grass Heads for Kids by Growing a Jeweled Rose
This looks like such a fun and easy project for kids! They’ll get to create some garden art and have so much doing it. This is one of my favorite garden craft ideas because it allows kids to personalize it and really make it their own. And they are always wanting to cut hair, so it’s a great opportunity to do so! 4. 20+ Ideas For Painted Rocks by Crafts by Amanda
So many possibilities when it comes to painting rocks for your garden! I think the ladybugs are my favorite, but there are so many great ideas to choose from! Older kids can get really creative with these, especially using paint pens. Acrylic paint would work if you are keeping the rocks indoors, but using a sealer or an outdoor paint would be best if keeping them outside. You can find the full list of instructions here.
